
"For our previous website we had to collate information from the ERP system and suppliers information onto a spreadsheet and then manually import to the site. Stock quantities on the website were roughly 2 hours behind our ERP system which gave customers incorrect information and caused oversales of certain items. Sales orders placed by customers took roughly 30 minutes to process from the website to our ERP system and when operating a very busy wholesale business customers could ring to discuss orders placed 20 minutes ago that still weren't visible to us internally. Discounts couldn't be displayed on the site either as this data is stored differently to standard pricing within SAP ByDesign, which the overnight export couldn't extract."


"The ordering process is much more accurate and efficient. Stock quantities are nearly live, therefore customers have more confidence that items they place on a sales order will be available for them, and with SwiftCloud sending sales orders directly via the SAP API, these orders are in SAP ByDesign almost instantly therefore claiming that stock. Pricing and discounts are updated directly from the SAP API too so if a customer places an order on the app, the web or if they ring they know they will get the same price quoted. Product information is updated directly from SAP so as new products are set-up they can then be set active for the website so customers can place orders. With purchase order information also included with the stock quantities, customers can clearly see when something that is out of stock will be available again.
Our customers have a lot more confidence in our ERP system that we moved to last year. After a few months of the usual issues with moving to a new system, the integrations to SAP ByDesign from SwiftCloud have shown them the benefits of the new system. Up to date stock information, purchase information and sales orders created instantly in the ERP system, accurate stock quantities, prices and discounts all help to enhance the customer experience helping them to place accurate sales orders quickly and easily. The Email import tool has increased our orders from Dropship customers as they can very easily set-up their owns integrations to Ebay, Amazon and their own websites which then automatically place orders with us.
