Prior to introducing SwiftCloud, Premier Wholesale Foods faced the following issues within their ordering process:

- Product information
- Manual processing of orders
- High error rate in ordering process

"Prior to Swiftcloud all orders processed overnight were taken from an answering service and manually processed into the invoice system by an employee which meant hours of additional work, often very late at night. SwiftCloud has reduced this workload by 50% so far with ongoing work to encourage customers not yet utilising the platform for orders out of hours, to begin doing so. Complications arising from manually taking orders, such as unclear answerphone messages, misheard items, misheard quantities, differing product names from customers etc and simple human error all led to errors when processing orders manually. The telesales team did not have easy access to product information and descriptions leading to slower customer decision making regarding new products until a member of the team could come back to them with further information."

SwiftCloud has completely changed the way that Premier Wholesale Foods operate:

"I believe we are relatively unique in the fact that we now utilise Swiftcloud for 95% of our customer orders, whether they come through the portal from the customer directly or they are processed through the telesales portal by our telesales team. Accuracy and efficiency has been impacted as follows: Customers can now select their own basket of goods with each item having an image and full product description including case size and bag/case quantities. By customers ordering directly it has removed a step of the ordering process (from the telesales team) and naturally reduced errors. It also significantly reduces the time spent by the team in processing orders from customers and allows more time to focus on upselling and retention.

Before Swiftcloud the only option was by brochure which were expensive to print, time consuming to produce and out of date within weeks. One of the most common comments I heard prior to Swiftcloud was "oh I didn't know you did that", that problem is now solved and we've seen an increase in basket size and variety with some customers. We haven't yet utilised the Multibuy function but the promotions are an absolute game changer! We've particularly noticed an uptake in new products with customer that are within promotions and it's a fantastic way to highlight great products that are not selling as well as they should, create excitement around new product launches and increase the basket size.

Swiftcloud has made it's impact felt across the entire sales process, one particular highlight is being able to register new customers to see our full product range within 24 hours. This helps with sales and pricing discussion with new customers and greatly speeds up the onboarding process. The efficiencies within the telesales team that the platform has driven are also very noticeable, particularly at peak times where the frenzy within the office has been reduced due to customers placing their own orders and not calling into the team and despite feeling a little quieter in the office we've seen a continued growth in sales generally."
